I'm so happy to share this project with you because its a reunion. For those that remember the mixtape era you remember seeing me with DJ Dyce and DJ Cannon Banyon.
What started out as us helping each other with our separate projects turned into us joining forces in 2007. At one point we were all living together in a basement apartment on Gregg St in Columbia, SC and that's when an artist could come see us for the ultimate mixtape one stop shop. You could get production from me, record your music, have your mixtape produced from top to bottom including graphic design, duplication and us sending it out in an email blast and uploaded to the top Mixtape platforms like DatPiff, MixtapeTorrent, and Live Mixtapes.
Master Splinta, formerly known as FatRat Da Czar gave us the nickname The CrackHouse Crew. Together we broke artists into new markets, We were nominated for awards and our projects were mentioned in magazines and blogs. we were going viral with our mixtapes, blend tapes, and remix projects before there was a term for it. We were The Affiliates of South Carolina. Things have come full circle and we are back in the studio. Our first offering is a blend tape/remix project from a great new artist out of Texas named BigXThaPlug. His style and sound is reminiscent of the Texas Takeover that introduced the world to artist like Slim Thug, Paul Wall Chamillionaire , Mike Jones. For my Super Supporters we have limited numbered and autographed copies available.
