At The Table is a great platform where the host Chef J invites figures in the community to share the cooking process and the story behind one of their favorite meals. When I was invited I immediately knew I wanted to share Black Eye’d Peas (No Fergie) in honor of my father. He passed away in 2020 during the pandemic and one of the ways I honor and remember him is through the foods and recipes he passed down to me.
